Event Overview
Join us at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina, on September 13th, 2025 for the Going Yard Home Run Derby, a creator and former athlete home run derby event. This major event will feature former defending champion of our 2024 inaugural event, “The Natural,” baseball YouTuber Eric Sim (A.K.A. King of JUCO), AEW star Anthony Bowens, and additional notable participants to be named later. The event will be be available to attend in-person for a limited number of guests.

Guests Are Invited To Participate
While the Charlotte Home Run Derby is not a ticketed event, you may attend as a guest. We are inviting guests to attend the home run derby as on-field ball shaggers and home run ball shaggers. Minors attending must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All guests in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in a Meet and Greet with home run derby participants.

Eric Sim
Eric Sim, better known as “King of Juco,” is a social media personality and baseball influencer who has taken the internet by storm with his entertaining and informative content. Born on October 12, 1992, in Oklahoma, Sims grew up with a passion for baseball. Sim’s content is known for its high energy, humor, and insight. He is unapologetically himself, and his passion for baseball shines through in every video, post, and tweet. He is not afraid to speak his mind and share his opinions, which has earned him a loyal following and critical acclaim.
Anthony Bowens
Anthony Bowens (born December 18, 1990) is an American professional wrestler from Nutley, New Jersey, currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion and the longest reigning AEW World Trios Champion, notably as part of The Acclaimed.
