Going Yard Baseball (Going Yard) and the National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) are proud to announce their strategic three-year partnership through 2028, which will focus on providing a signature player experience encompassing development, exposure, competition, and testing within the NABF event series, entitled “Going Yard with the NABF.” The partnership will
continue the NABF’s long, rich history by providing new player experiences, coupled with ongoing player promotion during all NABF events from the Going Yard Legacy Series. These will include focused development days, baseball skills testing, and special evaluation days, alongside amateur home run derbies, and other competitions, such as fastest man, through the
entire event schedule, including NABF World Series weeks.

Partnering with the NABF furthers Going Yard’s player development process—central to our efforts to become a recognized leader in the field—and helps the NABF provide significant value to all players coming through its tournaments and events. Players attending any Going Yard with the NABF development and evaluation days will have the opportunity to learn
from some of the top and most experienced coaches in the space, including former professional players, scouts, and even current college coaches, all of whom are solely focused on helping the players increase their respective skill sets and promote recruitment through an emphasis on stronger player development.

“Going Yard with the NABF is a partnership designed with one overriding purpose: enhancing the player experience,” per Going Yard CEO Frank Giglio. “Both Going Yard and the NABF want all players in this series to enjoy participating and advancing through a best-in-class experience, whether during focused evaluations, where exposure data testing and capture
with meaningful reporting can lead to better player development and promotion, or competitions that bring additional, exciting opportunities, and above all, having fun competing and getting better. Going Yard and the NABF believe this partnership will help players further their development while growing their love and appreciation for the game of baseball and all its
intricacies by creating an exciting atmosphere while building baseball IQ.”

“The NABF is proud and excited to be partnered with Going Yard starting this 2026 season,” stated Derek Topik, Executive Director for the NABF. “This partnership will open new opportunities for NABF baseball players to be promoted and play in some of the best events in the country.”

During select weekends, Going Yard with the NABF will conduct data testing, evaluation and showcasing. Players will leave each event with a full development report which has tangible takeaways on how to improve their game, along with ongoing support from the Going Yard staff. One of the equally important parts of the process is also helping players and their families
understand and navigate the current recruiting landscape. The NABF supports player growth on and off the field and desires to help those players gain exposure through its events, which is why this partnership was a natural fit. The Going Yard social media team will be on-site to capture content for digital player promotion. As part of the development day, players will have the opportunity to attend trial media sessions designed to teach how to responsibly manage social media accounts, among other important recommendations, to give them a better understanding of the baseball industry itself and how to manage their profiles. Players participating in the Going Yard with the NABF events will also have special opportunities to be selected to represent
the NABF at Going Yard events domestically and internationally. Certain standout players across the year will be considered for special selection to participate in Going Yard’s signature “call-up” event and experience on November 19-20, 2026, to be held at Angels Stadium in California.

“I could not be more excited to work with the players during the Going Yard with the NABF events,” said Gordon Blakeley of Going Yard, and recognized professional scout. “The legacy of the game matters to Going Yard, and the NABF has survived the test of time by providing a high-quality experience for players. Going Yard looks forward to further enhancing the player
experience and helping each player who walks through the gates to increase their skills, gain exposure, and better understand the recruiting process and what’s expected of the players who will advance through the various levels of baseball.”

“We are looking forward to the partnership and all the opportunities it will bring to highlight players, teams, and coaches in the NABF from throughout the country,” says Buzz McNish, NABF 3rd Vice President.

Going Yard will be a continued presence at NABF events throughout the summer and fall, starting this May, and looks forward to impacting the event series and all participating players.
